Klegecell and Divinycell are PVC foams specially developed for performace applications in the marine, wind blade, military and transport industry. PVC Foams are used because of properties above as well as

Self extinguishing
Variable Densities from 40 to 450gm/litre
Operating temp -200 to 90 Deg C

Balsa on the other hand has a higher flexural strength and is cheaper than PVC foam cores
